KCSCSI Volunteers are Needed !
Many of the KCSCSI volunteers have been blessed with time and talents which they freely share with others at the Senior Centers. Volunteers who can play a musical instrument, sing, teach a class on crafts, gardening, help with computers, or that can share interesting hobbies with our seniors are always welcomed. For other volunteers that want to be involved, drivers for the Meals On Wheels Program, or greeters for home-bound citizens are always needed. At present there are over 200 Kaufman and Navarro county KCSCSI volunteers that help the elderly and disabled citizens in our area. Our Meals on Wheels program provides over 140,000 meals per year, and the need for volunteers to help the increasing number of senior citizens continues to grow. Your smile along with a hot meal can provide nourishment and hope to someone that could otherwise go hungry.
